I'm back from Batam! (:
I was actually back on Sunday, but i was just too lazy to blog. Well, the trip was nice. Except that it was kinda boring staying at the resort, swimming and playing water sports. No shopping, cause the shopping centres have nothing nice. Even though stuffs there are ultra cheap we couldnt shop except to go to the supermarket to buy beer, red wine, chips, fruits, maggie mee and the funny funny indonesia food to try.
Although the trip was nice, the journey there was horrible. My mum & i were trying hard not to vomit on the ferry. & Kenneth was all alone at a corner because of some inconsiderate aunties and uncles who refused to move in. The person who was numb to all the jerking and noise of the ferry was Kenrick, who carried on studying his notes -__-
After going to Batam, I realised Singapore isnt really that bad afterall. The view in Batam was saddening except for the resort. Kampongs everywhere with small children playing in the muddy fields. 4 people on a motorbike, with the older child infront, and a baby in the mother's arms and the father driving. And we could hardly see any buildings on the way to the MegaStore.
Lucky for us, we brought one big bag of chips/drinks and games each. So other than swimming when the adults were having their spa and stuffs, we played card games and gambled -___-
